Academics
Smaller classes. Better opportunities.
With only 20 students in an average APSU class, you won’t spend all your
time listening to lectures and taking notes. You’ll be able to ask
questions, debate with classmates and develop relationships with professors
who will help you in – and after – college. Our professors are known for
their open doors, good advice and willingness to help students.
Also, many classes are offered online as well as on-campus. Some professors
even offer lectures and class materials as downloads for your iPod.
Multiple Choice(s)
At Austin Peay, you not only have a multitude of programs and degrees to
choose from, you also have a choice in where and how you take your classes.
APSU classes are offered on our main campus as well as the
APSU Center @ Ft. Campbell, located on post at Ft. Campbell. We are also
now offering classes and a full degree at the Renaissance
Center in Dickson.
If your busy schedule keeps you from making it to campus, APSU also offers
the largest selection of online programs in the state.
Choosing a Major
At Austin Peay, you’ll be able to choose from a wide variety of academic
majors. If you’re not sure about your major, don’t worry! The folks in our
Career and Advisement Center will
help you choose a path.
